Jordan recently took some time to answer questions from fans. Enter your questions and Jordan could answer your question next!

Q: Hey Jordan, I wanted to ask you if your vertical leap is 100% natural or
do you work on it?

A: I’ve always had the natural ability to jump pretty high, but I do try to maximize my innate abilities with a plyometric training program. Running in sand, stairs, with a waited vest etc.

Q: If you had to fill out a ballot for with your top 5 NBA MVP candidates,who would you choose and why?

A: This would be my top 5:
1) Kobe Bryant- My winner, not only is he the best player in the game, but this year has truly been the most valuable. Playing the right way, and making his teammates better.
2) Chris Paul
3) LeBron James
4) Kevin Garnett
5) Dwight Howard

Q: What are your thoughts on this years NCAA Tournament? Did you do a
bracket?

A: I thought this year’s tournament was a very good one. Lot’s of last second heroics, and unexpected upsets are what make that time of year so special. I did do a bracket, did very well this year. I was fortunate enough to get some key upsets right that allowed me to rack up some extra points.

just wanted to let you know how greatly admired you are in at least one fan’s mind! i really think you would make a good player in the laker future. although i mustnt forget Fisher, and with no disrespect to him, i really want to say you’ve been VERY productive when you come on. the quick layups you make, the three pointers you make, etc, etc…
i just hope and pray in my heart you’ll remain a man in purple and gold for many years to come!

Hey JFarmar, i just wanted to say wsup, and thank you for all the inspiration you have given me to play the game we love. You are my role-model. Being a guy from so-cal, you must be living the life! Growing up here, playing at taft, ucla, and now for the best franchise in NBA history. I finally got your jersey, and wear it as much as i can to school. Thank you again. Nice improvement this year. I’d still like to see some improvement on defense. I know there are a lot of very fast point guards out there (including you), but I’d like you to work harder to stay in front of them!

I’m still very happy with your play. The much improved 3 point shooting is a real asset. Way to lead the bench mob!

Question:

How's the knee doing? You starting rehab yet?

Answer:

It feels good, really good. There's not a lot of pain. I just need to get my quad strong and my muscles firing again. I just need to get back on the court and get working on some stuff again. I'll probably get into a pool next week. I'll probably do some cardio work in the pool. Once it gets strong again and I get my full range of motion back, then I can go back on the court and start doing some stuff.

Question:

Is Phil going to give you the opportunity to start this year?

Answer:

I really don't know. Regardless, I'm going to push derrick everyday and push Phil to try and make that a tough decision for him to make. Derrick is a great player. He has been in the league 13 years, they have won 3 titles together, and he is the team captain, so he has a lot of things going for him that will make it tough for me, but at the same time, it's going to make me better and make me work that much harder. I'm going to push him to make him better too, and I think our competition at the point guard spot will make the team better in the long run.

Question:

Do you think the preseason is important?

Answer:

For everybody, especially young guys, you want to come in in the preseason and improve, so you use the time to get your rhythm and timing right. You want to make sure all the stuff you hve been working on all summer can be effective in the game. It's a feeling out process for everyone on every team, so its a valuable time. You don't want to go through the growing pains during the season. You want to use the preseason to really get your stuff together, so yeah, it's important.

Question:

What's more of a thrill, playing in an NCAA tournament or the NBA Playoffs?

Answer:

It's very hard to say. Playing in the NCAA Tournament is so special and very pure in the sense that nobody gets paid to play. You just play for the love of the game, representing yourself, your family, and your university. On the other hand, the NBA Playoffs is post season basketball at the highest possible level, which is an incredible honor in itself. Once you get to the professional level, what you did in high school or college doesn't matter anymore, so you have to really come with it and find a way to get it done!

Question:

What accomplishment in your basketball career are you most proud of?

Answer:

The accomplishment I must say I'm most proud of is to have achieved my lifelong dream of making it to the NBA! I have the pleasure of going to work everyday knowing that I'm competing at the highest professional level, and playing for the organization I grew up loving! It's very special to be able to hone my skills at home, and contribute to my hometown team throughout our quest for a world championship! Once we do that, I'll have a new accomplishment that I'll be most proud of, but until then....BACK TO WORK!!!!
